Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Per Diem Radiology Technologist for the Northwest Campus A in Houston. The role involves performing radiographs per physician orders, utilizing fluoroscopic and digital radiography methods, and rotating to provide radiographic support across sites.

RIS and PACS experience preferred. The position requires ARRT eligibility or MRT General Certificate, AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry or MRT General Certificate within one year of eligibility.
• MRT-General Certificate.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes per department policies and protocols.
• Operate fluoroscopic and/or digital radiography equipment with CR technology.
• Rotate through ambulatory surgery center for radiographic support as needed.
• Use RIS to complete clerical processes and PACS for image archiving.
