Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide clinical services per standard radiology practices and to serve as a resource for students and staff. The role emphasizes radiation safety, ALARA compliance, and accurate image handling within the PACS workflow.

Responsibilities include supporting physicians during procedures, ensuring proper order verification, and delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• New Jersey Radiology Technologist License and ARRT certification.
• Ability to perform on-call, holiday, and weekend work.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical radiology services following practice standards and acts as a resource to radiology students and staff.
• Demonstrates radiation safety and ALARA principles for patients and staff.
• Ensures correct sending of images to PACS and adherence to department protocols.
• Assists physicians during studies using standard protocols and proper radiation protection.
• Delivers excellent patient care and resolves issues to achieve optimal study outcomes.
• Reads and verifies patient data and orders; maintains accuracy in documentation.
