Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging while supporting colleagues and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, maintaining imaging quality, and ensuring PACS storage and downtime procedures. Flexibility to cover shifts and campuses is required, with ongoing education and adherence to department standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of OneCHRISTUS competencies and professional behavior.
• Promotes staff development and collaboration to improve patient flow.
• Provides meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored in PACS and follows downtime procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports to leadership.
