Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the Diagnostic Imaging Manager. You will ensure patient safety, operate radiographic equipment, and process images for physician review.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved accredited school of radiologic technology
• Current Rhode Island license to work
• Must hold ARRT certification and meet core job abilities

Responsibilities

• Explain radiologic examinations to patients to reduce apprehension
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients
• Schedule radiologic examinations for efficient patient flow
• Operate radiographic equipment and assist with opaque contrast administration
• Process radiographic images in RIS and PACS for physician review
• Maintain department cleanliness and supplies and rotate shifts including weekends/holidays
