The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT certification, and an active NJ license, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology graduation required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist license (NJDEP) required.
• Maintains BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging per established protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and operate radiologic equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Apply radiation safety principles and comply with regulatory standards.
• Review images for quality and communicate with radiologists.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information in EMR and imaging systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate patient care and workflow.
• Maintain imaging equipment and monitor supplies; report equipment concerns.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
