Job summary
Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as part of a per diem workforce. You will operate radiology equipment, produce high-quality images, and support clinicians in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
The role requires ARRT registration and KS licensure, BCLS certification, and at least one year of Radiology Tech experience. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and on-site work at the hospital.
Qualifications
- ARRT registration and KS RT licensure required.
- Graduate of accredited radiology program; JRCERT preferred.
- At least one year of radiology experience preferred.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following departmental protocols.
- Ensure X-ray equipment is functioning properly and images meet quality standards.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures and patient information.
- Stay updated on radiologic technology and continuing education to maintain licensure.
