Aspire Senior Living East Prairie seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for per diem coverage in our skilled nursing facility in East Prairie, Missouri. You will assist licensed therapists, support resident mobility, and contribute to individualized care plans with a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Ideal candidates have an accredited PTA program, Missouri licensure, and experience with geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Missouri state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretching, and modalities, under the supervision of physical therapists.
• Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to physical therapists.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and resident outcomes.
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss resident care and develop a comprehensive care plan.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and achieve optimal resident outcomes.
