Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Pennsylvania. You will implement individualized treatment plans under supervision, perform therapeutic exercises, mobility and gait training, and assist with evaluations as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (PTA).
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of PTA treatment techniques and supervision under a PT.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized physical therapy plans under a licensed PT.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, gait training, manual therapy.
• Observe patient responses and communicate progress to supervising PT.
• Assist PT during evaluations, testing, and complex procedures as directed.
• Instruct patients and families in safe mobility and therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate group and individual treatment activities with the PT.
