Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. As a PTA, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents and help improve mobility and function in a compassionate senior care setting.

Per Diem/PRN options are available to provide flexible scheduling while delivering hands-on support and education to residents under the guidance of the PT department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure as a Missouri PTA is required.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by the PT.
• Monitor and record resident progress and report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments and progress notes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in resident education to promote independence and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PT department.
