Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our care team. As a PTA, you will work with a physical therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for our residents in a long-term care setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program and current Missouri PTA licensure; prior long-term care experience is preferred. This Per Diem/PRN position offers flexible scheduling to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Missouri PTA licensure is required.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by the physical therapist.
• Monitor and record resident progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
• Participate in resident education and training to promote independence and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapy department.
