Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team in a per diem capacity. The PTA will work with the Physical Therapy department to enhance residents' mobility and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting therapists, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team. Missouri licensure and an associate degree are required; long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Missouri.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in conducting physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and mobilization techniques.
• Implement treatment plans and provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes to Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and resident progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
