Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network, LLC. is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for float, per diem work in outpatient orthopedics in the San Diego area. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs regularly about patient progress.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and attendance.
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment and prepare treatment areas.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes in EMR.
