Job summary

The role supports physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, and documenting progress to optimize recovery.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• State licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the PT.
• Communicate patient progress with the PT on a regular basis.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and therapy notes.
