AVIR at Alice is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team at 800 Coyote Trail, Alice, TX 78333. The PTA will provide skilled therapy under a licensed PT, implement personalized plans, and support residents in mobility and independence.

A strong, compassionate, and team-focused approach is essential. New graduates are welcome, and per diem scheduling offers flexibility within an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• This role requires an active Texas PTA license and graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and organizational abilities.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and may be considered for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' goals.
• Assist with exercises, mobility training, transfers, and functional activities.
• Monitor progress and report changes to supervising PT in a timely manner.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and educate residents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other team members.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
