Job summary

St. Luke's Miners Campus in Coaldale, PA is hiring a per diem Physical Therapist to join our IP Rehabilitation Team.

The Acute Care Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease or injury. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, goal setting, therapeutic exercises, discharge planning, and supervising PT/ PTA staff as assigned, with on-site work and weekend availability

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Doctorate degree preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial patient evaluations thoroughly and accurately.
• Establishes realistic short-term and long-term goals for each patient.
• Administers therapeutic modalities and programs appropriately and effectively.
