Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support acute care patients. Role includes evaluation, plan development and delivery of therapy with emphasis on ADL/IADL, safety and discharge planning.

The position requires NJ/PA licensure and CPR certification, with master's degree preferred. Per diem schedule allows weekend coverage and flexible hours in the Bethlehem area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• State licensure in New Jersey or Pennsylvania is required based on work location.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs occupational therapy examination in a technically competent manner.
• Establishes realistic short- and long-term goals with each patient.
• Performs therapeutic exercises and implements progressive treatment programs.
• Administers modalities such as ultrasound, massage, and electrical stimulation.
• Documents initial evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
