Job summary

Living Branches is seeking Per Diem LPNs and RNs to join our team. You will work with residents you come to know, building relationships and helping create a community-focused living environment across our Pennsylvania locations. Per diem nurses are asked to work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts a month, plus 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday.

Additional shifts may be available. Applicants must hold a PA RN or LPN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Nurses use the nursing process to assess needs and develop plans.
• Ability to supervise care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and long-term care regulations.

PRN nurses are required to work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts a month, 1 winter holiday of their choosing and 1 summer holiday of their choosing. However, you can always pick up more hours!

Per Diem LPN/RN Overview

• The RN/LPN utilizes the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising and directing care provided by unlicensed nursing staff in the delivery of nursing care to render general health care within scope of practice.
• This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by others under their direction
• Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
• Strong managerial and communication skills to provide guidance and direction, set performance standards, monitor performance of subordinates and build trust among team members
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur
• Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN
• CPR certified
• 2-4 years nursing experience (Preferred)
