We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: ICU Registered Nurse in Mission Hills, CA.

Requirements

• Required Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS


• Required Skills: Arterial line management, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Emergency Medications, GI surgery, Infection Prevention, Lumbar drains, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Post Craniotomy, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Accessing/Managing Ports, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, Post Neurosurgery management, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Traumatic Brain injury, Ventilator Management
