Job summary

Suburban Endoscopy Center is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care before and after anesthesia, with emphasis on safety and comfort. The role includes assisting in procedure rooms and supporting patient recovery and discharge planning.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure in the state, BLS/ACLS, and prefer 2 years in PACU or critical care. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this per diem position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia and prepare for discharge.
