Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Per Diem Preop/PACU Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery team in Connecticut. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you will apply evidence-based nursing practices, develop individualized care plans, and support patients and families through perioperative processes. This role requires flexibility and strong multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Requires a person who is highly motivated, energetic and organized, must be able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a busy Ambulatory Surgery center serving outpatients.
• Use the nursing process to develop a plan of care meeting physical, emotional and educational needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
