Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 32-hour Preop/PACU RN first shift at our busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care to outpatient populations under supervision of the Nurse Manager.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, efficient multitasking, and opportunities for leadership within the department.

Formación

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• RN with 1-2 years of relevant experience and ability to multitask.
• Leadership mindset and willingness to take on department projects.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center for outpatient population.
• Utilize evidence-based practices per State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
• Develop and implement care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.

Job Description

Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family. In this role you will be working with patients in a busy Ambulatory Surgery center who cares for the outpatient population.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Requires a person who is highly motivated, energetic and organized, must be able to multitask.
• Looking for person who has leadership skills and is willing to take on projects and tasks as determined by the needs of the department.
