Job summary

Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, Maryland, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents achieve functional goals with compassionate, patient-centered care.

As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. MD licensure is required, and prior post-acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program.
• Currently registered/licensed in Maryland.
• One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans, provide patient education, and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
