Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster, Massachusetts is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist to assess residents, plan care, and provide direct treatment within a general rehab caseload. You must hold a Physical Therapy degree and be able to work with diverse teams; the role offers up to $55 an hour with weekly pay and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities include screening, developing care plans, documenting care, and contributing to program development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to perform documentation and direct patient care
• Ability to cope with periodic stress and prioritize/time manage

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates them to develop appropriate care plans
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care
• Participates in team meetings and decision-making processes
• Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers
• Monitors efficiencies in collaboration with supervisor
• Documents activities per documentation system on time
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and reimbursement regulations
• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers and supervisor
• Participates in program development and implementation
