Job summary

Labcorp Cincinnati is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our patient service team in Cincinnati, OH. This casual/per diem position may require varying start times (6:00am–6:00pm) Monday–Friday and weekends, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimen preparation and data entry, and provide friendly service to patients. Pay ranges are posted, and opportunities for growth and benefits are included with Labcorp’s commitment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
