Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Wilmington, NC. This per diem/casual role provides hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays up to 19 hours per week, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months experience. PTO/benefits eligibility vary by hours and schedule. Labcorp values exceptional customer service and safe, accurate specimen handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
