Boston IVF is seeking a per-diem phlebotomist for our Albany, NY center. The role involves patient phlebotomy, specimen handling, and coordinating with reference labs. The position requires a minimum of 2 years’ phlebotomy experience.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Schedule: Monday and Friday shifts are scheduled during one week each month. Additional requirements include a rotating Saturday and holiday schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing
• Processing samples to send to reference labs
• Responsible for pending results
• Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals
• Adhere to requirements of Safety Procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies in phlebotomy lab

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience
• Certification is preferred but not a requirement
• Technical expertise along with good customer service is very important
• Attention to detail a must
