Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Part-Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy operations in Van Wert, OH. You will work 24 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours, primarily at the Van Wert site with coverage at Lima and Findlay locations.

• Processes wholesaler medication orders and maintains inventory records.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state requirements and maintains accurate data.

We seek aPart Time Float Pharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours:Part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location: Home site is 1158 Westwood Dr. Van Wert, OH and will be responsible for coverage at Lima and Findlay locations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Activeand unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio (includes registered, certified or trainee license)
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
