Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Hours are per diem, Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm with a lunch break, at 308 Quincy St., Rapid City, SD.

Responsibilities include customer service, filling prescriptions, inventory management, clerical duties, and ensuring compliance with federal/state requirements.

• Active and unrestricted SD Pharmacy Technician license.
• Ability to work onsite at 308 Quincy St., Rapid City with per diem schedule.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

We seek a Per DiemPharmacyTechnicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours:Per Diem working on a need basis covering PTO, callouts and other business needs. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licenseinthe state of South Dakota
• Ability to work onsite at 308 Quincy St. Suite 100 Rapid City, SD 57701 with a per diem schedule
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous technician experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
