Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Pick up drug orders at nursing stations and prepare medications.
• Deliver the appropriate quantities of medications to the correct patient areas.
• Assist with accurate billing and crediting of patient medications.
• Maintain drugs in the pharmacy per the Drug Formulary, including ordering, receiving, storing and paperwork.
• Monitor doses administered according to the Medication Administration Record and narcotics sign‑out records.
