Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless state requires it.

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of pharmacy tasks and services.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Pick up drug orders at nursing station and prepare medications.
• Deliver medications to correct patient areas.
• Assist with billing and credits for patient medications.
• Maintain formulary-compliant drug storage, ordering and paperwork.
• Monitor doses per MAR and narcotics sign-out records.
• Maintain narcotics and other controlled substance records.
