Job summary

Main Line Health, Paoli Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Tech to support drug preparation and delivery under a Registered Pharmacist. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within the hospital pharmacy.

Candidates with prior hospital pharmacy tech experience are preferred. Education required is High School or GED, and active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration is required (effective 6/28/26).

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy tech experience preferred.
• Education: High School or GED.
• Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration required (effective 6/28/26).
• Pharmacy Technician Registration must be completed within 90 days for Technician Trainee eligibility.
• Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform the technical aspects of drug preparation and delivery under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Participate in hospital and department Performance Improvement Programs and assist in drug usage review.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and patient care services.
