Job summary

AnazaoHealth in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to dispense and verify medications, supervise technicians, and ensure quality control. You will handle prescription processing, liaise with physicians, and support customer inquiries with accurate drug information.

We require a Pharmacist license, a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, and attention to detail. PK software experience is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S., Pharmacy) or PharmD is required.
• At least one year of compounding pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy: Windows, Office 365, Teams.
• Current active Pharmacist State License required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of USP <795> and <800> preferred.
• Experience with PK Software or other pharmacy management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas.
• Oversee technicians in processing, compounding, packaging, labeling.
• Answer questions on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage.
• Enter patient name, medication, and cost to pharmacy files and inventory.
• Call physicians to clarify prescriptions when needed.
• Perform final quality checks prior to shipment.
• Maintain QA procedures and controlled substances security.
• Instruct staff on pharmacy matters and training.
• Review and file compounding batch records.
• Assist front-end operations with Rx intake and calls.
