Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services across its on-site pharmacies focused on behavioral health care. This temporary role offers competitive pay and benefits eligibility depending on hours.

Cover shifts at Raleigh, Hillsboro, Chapel Hill and Burlington; must hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy and a current North Carolina license, and be available Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Willing to cover shifts Mon-Fri 8-5 at multiple locations.
• Current pharmacist license in state of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
