Job summary

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree required (BS or equivalent).
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, 800 standards.
• Registered Pharmacist license required (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Complies with state/federal regulations and site policies for pharmaceutical care.
• Reviews and verifies medications prior to dispensing; communicates with providers when needed.
• Oversees dispensing, chain of custody, and accountability of controlled substances.
• Handles investigational drugs where applicable.
• Ensures sterile and non-sterile compounding meets USP standards.
• Oversees pharmacy staff, technicians and couriers.
