Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. The role includes dispensing and monitoring medication therapy according to all applicable regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate has an ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree with a BS in Pharmacy and an active Pharmacist license in New Jersey, with 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a BS degree in Pharmacy.
• Licensure as a Pharmacist in New Jersey.
• 1–2 years hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services.
• Responsible for dispensing and monitoring medication therapy in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of principles of USP 795, 797, and 800.
• EPIC experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Registered Pharmacist License.
