Qualifications

• Experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.
• DC pharmacy license required with no disciplinary actions.
• Familiarity with HIV/AIDS clinical settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient counseling and information.
• May act as Pharmacy Manager in absence of pharmacist-in-charge.
• Communicate with physicians about prescriptions.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor therapy and maintain controlled-drug records.
