Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Pharmacist for Per Diem (PRN) coverage at our Orlando, FL clinic-based, retail pharmacy. The role emphasizes patient counseling, drug information, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe and effective therapy.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Pharm.D., an active Florida Pharmacist License, and ideally at least two years of pharmacy experience, with HIV/AIDS clinical experience viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS clinical setting is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Knowledge of policies and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager.
• Contact and confer with physicians regarding prescription questions.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare I.V. admixtures where applicable.
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
• Maintain patients’ medication records.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine duties.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend programs, meetings, and educational sessions.
• Contribute to quality improvement and compliance programs.
