Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a DC-registered Pharmacy Technician to support fast-paced, clinic-based pharmacies in the Washington, DC area. This full-time role requires accuracy, patient focus, and flexibility to float across locations within the DC region.

The successful candidate will assist pharmacists, manage patient data, handle calls, and operate POS while upholding high standards of service and regulatory compliance. DC licensure or willingness to apply is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DC Licensed Pharmacy Technician preferred or willingness to apply to the DC Board of Pharmacy.
• PTCB National Certification preferred; assistance may be provided to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy.
• Willingness to float to multiple DC area locations.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely pharmacy services in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.
• Provide compassionate customer service.

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Already Washington, D. C. Pharmacy Technician licensed is preferred, or willingness to apply immediately to the DC Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB National Certification is also strongly preferred (We will assist in helping you obtain your certification)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy
• Willingness to float to multiple pharmacy locations within the DC area
• Experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting a plus
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• Bilingual Spanish a PLUS
