Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team in West Virginia. You will process prescriptions, dispense medications, and provide counseling to customers while delivering high-quality service in a flexible, intermittent schedule.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and an active WV pharmacist license. Immunization administration may be included where allowed by state boards, with comprehensive benefits for eligible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist's license in WV.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
