Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our collaborative care team serving behavioral health populations in West Virginia. The role involves dispensing medications, counseling customers, immunization administration where allowed, and ensuring compliance with state pharmacy laws.

The position is temporary/intermittent, with hourly compensation ranging from $44 to $79 depending on experience and shift.

Qualifications

• Provide information to customers about medications and their use.
• Be compliant with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Deliver high-level customer service in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
