Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care across neonates to older adults, coordinating with the surgeon and anesthesiologist to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

The role requires a valid state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with a minimum of one year perioperative experience. CNOR and BSN are preferred; Per Diem shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists; direct OR technicians and other staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and unit efficiency.
• Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital policies; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for other personnel as appropriate.
