Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and available.
• Assist in positioning the patient and ensuring safety and comfort during surgery.
• Monitor the sterile field and maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and team members to anticipate intraoperative needs.
• Document nursing care, surgical counts, and intraoperative events promptly.
• Respond to emergencies or unexpected situations during surgery.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
