Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a offer flexible scheduling and daily/weekly pay options.

Earn $56.25-$57.25 per hour with per diem opportunities, choose your own shifts, and work as little as one shift per month if you prefer. Active Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS required, with related certifications and tests as specified.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current certification.
• AHA ACLS current cert.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and rhythms.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
