First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Choose your shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) and build a schedule that fits your life, with options for daily or weekly pay and flexible per diem pay.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
