Job summary

First Choice Nurses in Virginia is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, offering the freedom to build a schedule that fits your life.

Join FCN to work as little as one shift per month or more, with daily and weekly pay options and a responsive local team. Applicants must hold an active Virginia RN license, have 2 years PCU experience in the last four years, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, plus QuantiFERON-TB Gold, with COVID-19

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years PCU experience in past 4 years.
• BLS and ACLS current; QuantiFERON-TB Gold; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administering medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
