Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities across Hampton Roads, VA. Earn $56.25–$58.00 per hour with day or night shifts and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other PCU equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to safety guidelines.
