Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a Per Diem Driver to transport patients to and from inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring safety, timeliness, and confidentiality.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with morning 6:30a–10a or afternoon 12p–6p options. Candidates must have a valid NJ or PA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, a clean driving record, and the ability to assist patients with mobility needs in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid New Jersey or Pennsylvania driver's license in good standing with state is required.
• CPR/First Aid Required
• Have an acceptable driving record which will be verified through the state DMV; no outstanding violations permitted
• Must agree to abide by and follow all policies and safety training as required
• High School or GED required.
• Must be able to operate Hampton vehicles which include passenger vans and an SUV.
• One year previous experience transporting patients and/or working in a mental health facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Per Diem Driver is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation of patients to and from Hampton Behavioral Health Center, both inpatient and outpatient appointments, therapy groups and sessions, and day and evening programs.
• Observes and demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness and medical center policy regarding fire and safety regulations, infection control standards, smoking regulations, telephone usage and other rules governing conduct while at work.
