Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking a Per Diem Driver for Hampton Behavioral Health Center to provide safe patient transportation to inpatient and outpatient appointments. The role requires a courteous, professional demeanor, confidentiality, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a NJ or PA driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and have a clean driving record. Prior experience transporting patients or in mental health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid New Jersey or Pennsylvania driver's license in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid Required.
• One year previous experience transporting patients or working in a mental health facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation of patients to and from Hampton Behavioral Health Center, and to inpatient and outpatient appointments, therapy groups and sessions.
• Plan and coordinate travel routes to minimize transportation time and patient length of stay on the van.
• Operate Hampton vehicles which include passenger vans and an SUV.
• Observe and follow safety, fire, and infection control policies while at work.
