Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a per diem Driver to safely transport patients to and from the center for inpatient and outpatient services. The role supports daily schedules, routes to minimize wait times, and ensures patient comfort and confidentiality during transport.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid NJ or PA driver’s license, maintain a clean DMV record, and possess CPR/First Aid certification. Experience in mental health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid NJ or PA driver’s license in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid required.
• Driving record verified by DMV; no outstanding violations.
• Agree to policies and safety training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must operate Hampton vehicles ( vans/SUV ).
• One year of transporting patients or mental health facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from Hampton Behavioral Health Center for inpatient and outpatient appointments and programs.
• Plan and coordinate travel routes to minimize transportation time and patient length of stay on the van.
• Maintain confidentiality and conduct with patients, staff, visitors, and physicians.
• Follow emergency preparedness and safety policies and regulations.
