Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA to support nursing teams during Day, Evening and Night shifts.

You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, perform Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy and EKGs, and contribute to a high-quality patient experience as part of the nursing care team. Previous experience preferred; 3-week training and BLS on hire/orientation are noted.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
• Mandatory 3-week program (3 weekdays per week).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and patient comfort.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Perform Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy and EKGs as directed.
• Collaborate with nurses and support unit nursing duties.

Be our next Per Diem Patient Care Technician at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, located in Malvern, PA!

Available Opportunities:

• Non-Benefits Eligible: Per Diem, 12hr shifts (7pm - 7am), base schedule to include 2 12hr shifts in a 6 week period.

At Main Line Health, our PCT's work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts. The shifts currently available are based on department needs.

Experience:

Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.

Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Education:

Graduation from high school or equivalent required.

Training Commitment:

Mandatory 3-week program (3 weekdays per week)

Licensures & Certifications:

BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
